Note: On June 3, 2004 the New York State Department of Health, as the single state agency for Medicaid in New York, received approval from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid of the State Plan Amendment (SPA 03-45) to establish the Personalized Recovery Oriented Services (PROS) program. This approval of the SPA establishes authority for PROS programs, once licensed by the Office of Mental Health, to receive Medicaid reimbursement.
