Job Title: Senior Job Supervisor/Trainer
Description: The position spervises a staff of Job Supervisor/Trainers and provides employment and training opportunities to adult consumers of mental health services in a storefront retail sales affirmative business. The program goal is to prepare consumers for compettive employment in the community.
Primary Functions:
- Oversee the Vocational Rehabilitation component of the program providing hands-on supervision to a staff of 3.
- Train, supervise, and evaluate program trainees in the performance of their jobs.
- Coordinate Skills Training and Employment Support groups for the trainees.
- Carry a caseload of 8-10 program trainees.
- Oversee the assessment of trainees' support, supervision, training needs and charting their progress through the program.
Qualifications:
- Training and experience in providing Vocational Rehabilitaiton services to mental health consumers.
- Familiarity and experience with the Self-Help Recovery Model and its relevance to providing Vocational Rehabilitation services.
- Experience in providing job training/work readiness development in a functioning business.
