Job Title: Rehabilitation Therapist
Agency: Mount Sinai Medical Center, Psychiatry Care Center, Vocational Services Program

The Vocational Services Program at the Mount Sinai Psychiatry Care Center seeks a rehabilitation therapist to work with people who have severe and persistent mental illness in their Supported Employment/Continuing Day Treatment Program. This is a model program with both treatment and vocational rehabilitation services provided in an integrated setting.

Job Duties:

• Applicant will provide treatment and case management services for a caseload of 15 consumers.
• Applicants will provide group and individual therapy.
• Will be responsible for all case notes and presentations to the treatment team regarding caseload updates and screenings for new admissions to the program.

Applicant must have knowledge of the empowerment process and the Recovery Model of psychosocial rehabilitation. Good communications and interpersonal skills a must. Spanish speaking a plus. Masters degree in vocational rehabilitation, counseling, psychology, and social work. Full time position available with comprehensive benefits.
