Posted: October 24, 2002 Job Title: Peer Advocate Internship The intern will be responsible to work 16 hours per week at the Vocational Services program. The intern's primary responsibilities will be: Developing relationships of support with consumers of the Vocational Services CDTP; especially with consumers who are newly admitted to the program and may need help with the transition. The intern will also work in the programs work units for example; clerical or building maintenance to help evaluate and train consumers. The intern will co-lead treatment groups; such as MICA group or the Peer Support group. The peer advocate will also be responsible to attend staff meetings and any ad hoc committees that may be formed during their training in the program.
