Quality Employment Services: Will You Know It When You See It?

January 2003

Most people typically consider a variety of factors before making a decision when purchasing products or services. Some factors considered are the quality, ingredients, price, and reputation of the product or service. It is suggested that people with disabilities and their families consider using this decision-making process when they look at the selection of employment and vocational service options as they would any other major purchase.

More information about this process and guidelines developed by the Institute for Community Inclusion (ICI) to evaluate service options for people with disabilities, can be found on the ICI Publications web page.
